Being one of the most representative at a national level in the field of aesthetic medicine, since it is made up of a sample of\u00a0<strong>1051 respondents<\/strong>\u00a0in all Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.seme2024.org\/templates\/yootheme\/cache\/2d\/36-SESION-XIII-023-2d9eaaa3.webp\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:1089px;height:auto\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo: seme.org<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An x-ray of the patients<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the profile of patients who have undergone some treatment, it stands out that the&nbsp;<strong>69% are women and 31% <\/strong>are <strong>men<\/strong>. Women between 35 and 54 years old are the most demanding of these treatments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some interesting data that emerge from this report is that&nbsp;<strong>There are more and more young people and more people over 45<\/strong>. A 14-20% is 16 to 25 years old and a 28-38% is over 45 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year the average age increases, which in the previous report was 39 years, to 45 years. In short, the percentage by age is distributed as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16 to 25 years: 20%<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>25 to 34 years: 21%<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>35 to 45 years: 21%<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over 45 years: 38%<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The most popular aesthetic treatments<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report also extracts the five aesthetic medicine treatments most requested by the population.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the top is treatment with&nbsp;<strong>IPL (<\/strong>intense pulsed light), followed by&nbsp;<strong>fillers with hyaluronic acid<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>mesotherapy<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>the PRP<\/strong>&nbsp;(platelet-rich plasma) and&nbsp;<strong>the toxin<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seg\u00fan datos del informe \u2018Percepci\u00f3n y uso de la medicina est\u00e9tica en Espa\u00f1a 2023\u2019 un&nbsp;46,6%&nbsp;de la poblaci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola se ha realizado alg\u00fan tipo de tratamiento de medicina est\u00e9tica.
