Cette proc\u00e9dure, commun\u00e9ment appel\u00e9e \u00ab tuer le nerf \u00bb, consiste \u00e0 retirer tout ou partie de la pulpe dentaire affect\u00e9e, en laissant le canal ou la racine r\u00e9ticulaire propre et exempt de bact\u00e9ries, dans le but de pr\u00e9server les dents endommag\u00e9es et, par cons\u00e9quent, d'\u00e9viter donc sa perte.
