This disease begins as Gingivitis (inflamed gums) and can progress to Periodontitis (destruction of supporting bone causing tooth loss).

1. Therapeutic Cleaning (Curetage)
What does it consist of? It is a specialized deep cleaning under the gum, performed under local anesthesia to remove all tartar and plaque from the root of the tooth.
The Result: We stop bleeding and inflammation of the gums, controlling the infection immediately.
2. Surgery and Regeneration (Only if Necessary)
What does it consist of? In advanced cases, the roots are surgically accessed to clean deep pockets and, if feasible, we apply techniques of bone regeneration to restore lost support.
The Result: Bone destruction is slowed and tooth mobility is stabilized.
3. Periodontal Maintenance (The Most Important Step)
What does it consist of? A program of periodic specialized checkups and cleanings (every 3 to 6 months), individually designed for you.
The Result: Prevents the disease from recurring and ensures the longevity of your teeth for life.
