SCAR TREATMENT
Scar Removal: Restore the Beauty of Your Skin
Are you worried about those scars that affect the appearance of your skin and your confidence? At Clínica Doctores López, we understand that each scar is unique and requires a specialized approach. We offer a range of advanced treatments to eliminate or significantly improve the appearance of scars, helping you regain the softness and uniformity of your skin.
From acne scars to those caused by injuries or surgeries, our team of experts will evaluate your case to design a personalized treatment plan that gives you the best possible results.
The length of each session varies depending on the type of scar and the technique used (laser, injections, etc.). It is performed in a clinic, and discomfort is minimized with topical anesthesia if necessary.
Rest will depend on the aggressiveness of the treatment. For ablative lasers, there may be redness and swelling for several days. For injections, rest is minimal.
The result is a permanent improvement in the scar's appearance. Finally, the skin continues to regenerate after treatment, offering progressive results.
Laser Scar Removal: How is it performed?
Before starting treatment, your doctor will conduct a detailed evaluation of your scars to determine their type, depth, and extent, and then determine the most appropriate treatment plan for you.
Scar removal treatment, especially with laser, is an outpatient procedure, so the patient can go home after the session is over. The procedure involves applying a laser beam (such as CO²) to the scar, which renews the layers of the skin and stimulates collagen production to soften and improve its appearance.

Scar Removal Care
At Doctores López Clinic, we are known for providing personalized care to our patients, always taking into account their individual needs and circumstances. Therefore, each of our treatments is tailored to each patient who comes to our clinic seeking the most even skin tone.
Avoid intense sun exposure on the treatment area for at least two weeks beforehand. Inform your specialist about any medications you are taking (especially photosensitizers) and if you have a history of herpes.
Strictly follow your specialist's instructions regarding cleaning the area, applying healing or regenerating creams, and using dressings. It is CRUCIAL to avoid direct sun exposure and consistently use SPF 50+ sunscreen on the treated area to prevent hyperpigmentation. Avoid rubbing or scratching the scar, and don't wear makeup until the skin has completely healed if you've had an ablative laser.
In order to offer an exact price, a free initial appointment at our clinic is required to assess the case.
Each patient is unique and requires personalized treatment adapted to their needs.
