The iTero scanner is a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging device used in dentistry to capture precise 3D digital models of the oral cavity. It replaces cumbersome traditional impressions with fast, convenient, and highly detailed scanning.
With advanced optical technology, the iTero scanner allows teeth and gums to be viewed in real time, facilitating diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical follow-up.
The entire process takes between 3 and 5 minutes depending on the operator's experience and the type of treatment. The patient can return to their normal routine immediately.

How does an iTero scan work?
The iTero is an advanced intraoral scanning technology that allows dental professionals to quickly and accurately obtain a three-dimensional digital representation of a patient's mouth. Using an ergonomic wand, the device captures thousands of detailed images of the teeth and gums. These images are processed in real time by sophisticated software, assembled to form a complete and detailed virtual model that appears on a screen.
