The liposuction or liposculpture It is a surgical intervention through which extracts accumulated fat in different areas of the body: chin, arms, breasts, abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees or ankles. At no time should it be thought that it is a treatment against obesity, but rather a body shaping technique by eliminating excess adipose tissue and sometimes even reinjecting part of it in areas where it may be necessary.
However, liposuction has the drawbacks typical of a surgical intervention such as recovery time, greater complications in difficult areas that have a thin dermis, complicated skin retraction, aged skin, skin with irregular areas, etc.; or higher cost due to the duration of the intervention and the resources assigned.
In recent years, Thanks to Laserlipolysis or Lipolaser, these inconveniences have been overcome with this procedure and technique because it is minimally invasive and very safe, achieving great effectiveness in eliminating localized fat. Furthermore, with lipolaser no need for hospitalization since the intervention lasts approximately one hour depending on the area to be treated, and after the procedure the patient can return home immediately on their own.
Since it is a much less aggressive technique than traditional Liposuction, it will facilitate incorporation into normal life quickly and comfortable. The only care that the patient will have to take is to keep the belt recommended by the specialist in place, and not do impact sports in the first weeks. The return to work is immediate. The cannula used is so small that the incisions made are minimal and almost imperceptible after the intervention, thus reducing the possibility of scars.
