There are various techniques to perform professional teeth whitening that, broadly speaking, can be summarized in three: 

Teeth whitening in consultation. It is carried out in the dental clinic by applying a whitening agent based on hydrogen peroxide. It is necessary to previously carry out adequate prophylaxis and check that the oral cavity is clean. This is a very effective method, since a high concentration of the whitening component is handled under the control of a dentist.

Home whitening.After the initial review and study of your case, your dentist will provide you with the product and the splints necessary for its use. It will also explain how and how often you should apply it.

Combined teeth whitening. Combine the two methods described above. Thus, in consultation, the diagnosis and the first whitening process are made in the clinic and subsequently, the patient is provided with the teeth whitening kit at home so that they can continue applying several more sessions at home.
